The Comics
July 4th 2004
My Life with Thrill Kill Karl - Karl exists somewhat as a part of me. As much as I am a social butterfly, I hate people. I think Karl is that little medium through whom I can put all that hate in a ball and let it loose. Karl's story is more or less a criticism of human nature in its whole. I intended this comic to be serious and catchy... and it seems to have worked to some extent. Karl gives me the chance to explore and play with the darker side of human life... and sometimes the brighter side.
In the Mind of Vlad Damien - Now this comic has been running for longer than its webcomic presence. Novanex (Sam) and I were doing this comic in secondary school/high school. Sure, it was more like a whole comic, not just strips, but the joke style was pretty much the same. Some of these comics are part real-life and part fiction, but all based on jokes good friends have going together.
Stray Bullet - This comic is currently on hiatus. First of all, my drawing style changed, so I'll have to redo the first 5 pages. Second of all, I have to type out the manuscript for this graphic novel, which takes quite some time. I only have 5 pages done up to now, and about 50 pages in manuscript... and I'm not even starting the story. This project could very well follow after I'm done with Karl.
The Adventures of James Bone - This one is still in the works. I don't want to start it yet and I'll probably do it when I'll be done with Karl. It will be, more or less, a parody of James Bond... with the undead as the main star!
Pater Noster - This comic constitutes of a follow-up to the My Life with Thrill Kill Karl comic. You get to follow Karl's offspring as they try to find their lost father.
